Shaw CC U13s - 121 for 5 (20 overs) Uppermill CC U13s - 17 all out (8.1 overs)

The U13s got their season off to an excellent start with a big win at Uppermill.

Shaw batted first and Henry made a flying start cruising to 30 not out from 25 balls his first retirement in U13s cricket. Billy with 26 not out, Lexi with 18 and Jack with 17 also batted well.

When Uppermill batted, Shaw ‘s bowlers were on top with Noeh taking 3 for 1, Lexi 3 for 5, Paddy 2 for 6 , Hassan on his Shaw debut conceeding just 2 runs off his spell, and George 1 for 0 taking their final wicket and wrapping up the game off his first delivery

Joint Players of the Match were Lexi & Henry presented with match balls by generous sponsors Steve & Mark.

While Jel got the thanks from the team after the game the official and self-appointed Coach of the Match was Tom Gillis as the U13s would be nothing without the many hours of hard graft Tom has put in over the winter.

Great travelling support as ever.
