Denton West won the toss and elected to bat a decision they soon regretted when in the second over Henry clean bowled two of their top batters. Denton fought back with two aggressive players retiring 30 not out and only tight bowling in the second half of their innings prevented Denton from scoring more than 94 for 4 in their 20 overs. The wickets were taken by Henry (2 for 2 in 3 overs), Reuben C (1 for 5) and Harry (1 for 13).

When Shaw batted the two Jacks again got them off a good start with Jack H accelerating to an excellent 20 from 21 balls while Jack C got 19 from 44 balls. With 10 overs to go it looked like the game might be close but Henry and Chaz had other plans with Henry scoring 20 from 29 balls and Chaz scoring 10 from 7 balls as Shaw finished on 98 for 2 to win by 8 wickets with almost 4 overs to spare.
