James returns after a season away with neighbours Saddleworth. The keeper batsman was a crucial part in the 2024 premier t20 competition winning side. Jimmy was missed last year and will play a pivotal role this season across teams.

After resigning with the club, Jimmy expressed his enthusiasm: “I am buzzing to be back involved with the club after a year apart. Some of my best moments on a cricket pitch have been for shaw and I can’t wait to contribute to the club in any way necessary. Hopefully we can enjoy the season and win some pots on the way.”

The Club President shared his excitement: “James was a big part of the club recent success. His willingness to play whatever role he can do is admired and his energy, enthusiasm and passion for the game was missed last year. Jimmy has always been willing to coach any younger players aswell, he is the kind of player we want around the club. Looking forward to watching him this year.”
