Another clinical performance by one of our junior sides as the u11s progressed in the first round of the Lancashire Cup, following up their excellent league performance the previous evening against Saddleworth 'A'.

Captain Widdall lost the toss (again) and Shaw were not too disappointed to be asked to bat first on a sunny but baltic Moorside CC.

Full credit to our hosts they started brightly taking a couple of early wickets but they could not stop the steady flow of boundaries, we managed to score 176/4 from our 16 overs.

We then bowled with great discipline and control to restrict Moorside to 43/10 from their 16 overs. Well done to everyone involved. ? #UTS
